Who we are

Jessica

Jessica is a former bookseller and event coordinator with a passion for reading and writing. Establishing herself as a book influencer and content creator, she has worked with authors and publishers as an advance copy reader and book reviewer for the past six years. Recently, she has worked as an author assistant and is currently a board member for the Amelia Island Book Festival. She is also the founder and moderator of The Wednesday Murder Club, a true crime book club. Jessica holds a B.A. in Christian Education from Baptist University of Florida. In her spare time, you can find her with a book in hand or working on her own novel. She is married to an Army veteran and is the mom of two teenage girls.

Kayli

Kayli brings nearly seven years of experience in the book industry, where she gained hands-on knowledge of book buying and selling, event management and much more. From there, she served as a board member of Amelia Island Book Festival advocating for community engagement by connecting authors with readers in Nassau County and beyond. She launched her own design and photography project, MysticVan Design, curating the art of storytelling through powerful imagery. As her work evolved, Kayli began working with clients as a freelance social media manager, eventually acquiring a small boutique-style business that continued to grow and expand. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Foreign Language from Georgia Southern University. She currently resides along the Georgia-Florida border, where she enjoys spending time in nature, photography, and keeping up with her two young children.
